Healthy Drink 1 - Turmeric Tea
Hello Friends!!
Step 1: Ingredients
Milk - 1 cup
Turmeric - 1 pinch
Pepper balls - 2 grounded
Cinnamon powder - 1 pinch
Palm sugar - 1 spoon full
Step 2: Making process
I have specifically chose this topic during flu period to give some insights to the people to take care self and extended family. These Booster drink are very much useful to function the immunity in our body and fight against any type of disease. I am going to give a topic called "Healthy Drinks" which covers fresh juices,milkshakes,soups,traditional drink(Kashayam) etc., If I am going to post any of the drink in our blog will have the title "Healthy Drink".
The first post here to choose is "Turmeric Tea" and has lots of health benefits during these times.I have already featured this drink as "Golden Milk" in my blog post "Turmeric(Queen of Spices) Benefits".
Why Turmeric Tea?
Turmeric has its own Anti-Oxidant (if you want to know what it is refer our “Health Benefits of Lemon” Blog), Anti-Inflammatory and Antibiotic properties. Curcumin is a naturally occurring chemical compound found in Turmeric. This Curcumin rich foods are scientifically proven health benefits such as to prevent Heart disease, Alzheimer's and Cancer. If it is going to fight cancer why not flu? Do prepare this tea twice a week and drink during the flu season.
Milk - 1 cup
Turmeric - 1 pinch
Pepper balls - 2 grounded
Cinnamon powder - 1 pinch
Palm sugar - 1 spoon full
Step 2: Making process
(i) Boil the milk to half and then add Turmeric,Pepper balls,Cinnamon powder as mentioned in Ingredients.
(ii) When comes to boil at 100 degree celsius , add palm sugar and keep it aside for 5 mins. Switch off the stove.
PS: You can also replace the milk with water if you don't like it.
