I wanted to show you the most healthiest recipes which you will never fail to try after reading this blog.
After marriage this healthmix served most of my purpose during morning breakfast (to think what to make for everyday). Based on my experiences I am going to share some of the Health mix recipes which will save your time during morning. Healthmix is rich in nutrients like fibre,carbs,proteins,low calories fat etc.,This is one kind of an energy booster one can ask for and will be stomach filling for 2-3 hours.
What is Health mix?
To all those who don't know what it is ? It is a chosen mix of Millets,grains, and pulses which is roasted to enhance flavours with nuts and cardamom which is ground and store it in air-tight container without any preservatives,artificial agents etc., I chose always homemade Healthmix than store bought ones. Recipe 01: Health Mix Porridge
Ingredients:
HealthMix
Water
Jaggery Paste
Salt
Milk (optional)
This is simple and one can make it in no minute. All you need to have is Health Mix, Water, Jaggery paste, Salt.
You need to mix all the ingredients in correct proportions without Jaggery(it should be added at the last) and keep it in stove to boil. After it reaches the consistency ,get the container down,add Jaggery paste and cool it.You can add the boiled milk at the end if you want. (Milk can be added if you are giving it to Kids). This can be given to kids after 4 years of age. (Those are the development period for kids) and very healthy as the name suggests.
Recipe 02: Health Mix Pancakes
Ingredients:
Healthmix powder - 2 cups
Fresh Moringa leaves (Murungai Keerai) - handful
Grated Coconut - 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
For Tempering:
Onion - 1 finely chopped
Mustard Seeds
Urad dal
Oil
As said These pancakes provide rich source of fiber,Iron,proteins etc., to supplement the body nutrients. This is very easy to make if you have healthmix powder ready in hand and justice for quick breakfast.
Steps:
Add all the Ingredients to the mixing bowl except Tempering Ingredients and mix well.
For tempering, in a pan add mustard seeds,urad dal and onion. Saute for two minutes.
In the mixing bowl,Add the tempering stuff to it and mix well.
Make the mix into small small balls.Take the Dosa tawa and spread like patties.
Grease the oil on top of the patties. Keep it up for 10 minutes.
Once done take it and shift it to a plate.

Recipe 03: Health Mix Mug cake
Ingredients:
Health Mix powder - 3-4 tbsp
Jaggery - 3-4 tbsp
Milk - 1/2 cup
Baking powder - 1 tbsp
Baking Soda - a pinch
Cocoa powder - 2 tbsp
Vanilla essence - 2 drops
oil - 2tbsp
Chocolate piece - 1 or 2
toppings(nuts,chocolate chips,gems,etc.,) any
It may sound weird, but actually you can make it which is super healthilicious. Its an easy kids snack. You don't need high-five Ingredients/equipments to make all these because it named as cake.
Mix all the Ingredients in a bowl and transfer it to a Mug/any vessel you want to keep it in Oven or Steamer.
Idli Steamer Method:
Take the Idli Steamer vessel without the plates filled with water with tissue paper inside. Keep the Mug/Vessel inside it and close the lid. Keep it for 30-45 minutes. After that, take a toothpick to check whether it is baked to a perfect consistency.
